Propolisol is the only essence of plant spagyric whose starting material is both of plant and animal origin. Pure propolis extract (up to 98% propolis content) is carefully dissolved in high-quality alcohol and then filtered off. We mature our tinctures in a special spagyric incubation and low temperature circulation to birth a true elixir and mother tincture. For Propolis we take this to the maximum solubility of propolis to produce the most effective, efficient form for internal and external uses, and especially in oral health care. Propolis contains about 50 percent of antibacterial plant resins, about 30 percent beeswax, about 7 percent pollen, as well as essential oil, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements, and cell salt minerals. Science has been able to prove in the laboratory and in numerous experiments with animals that the composition of the bee resin is decisive for the action against harmful germs. It is the perfect additive to water for gargling before bed for a refreshing and antibacterial part of one’s night time routine. Some traditional uses are for the care of gums and teeth. In this way, we gain an extremely qualitative bee product for a variety of applications.

The propolis is produced by the bees, re-elaborating through the glandular and enzymatic secretions, resinous and gummy substances collected from them. For external use, propolis is used in gargling and rinsing for canker sores, pyorrhea, gingivitis, stomatitis, etc. It can be useful as an adjuvant in flu syndromes, tonsillitis, stomatitis, canker sores, laryngopharyngitis and gingivitis. The most recent studies identify three main groups of substances contained in it: 1. Polyphenols and aromatic compounds (flavonoids, aromatic hydroxy acids, alcohols and aromatic aldehydes, curarins); 2. Terpenes; 3. Various compounds; The flavonoids galangina and pinocembrina are responsible for the bacteriostatic activity, the esters of caffeic acid and ρ -cumaric acid are attributed antimycotic properties, many isoflavones have spasmolytic activity. Furthermore, they are recognized for their anti-inflammatory, antithrombogenic, anti-aggregating properties, for the prevention of brittleness and of the anomalies of capillary permeability. Traditional European use for propolisol is indicated for immune deficiency – allergies – hay fever – influenza infection – sinusitis – tonsillitis.

Internal: 25 drops 3 times a day in a little water.
Apply topically to the skin, 2-4 times a day.
Indications for external use are inflammation of the skin, cuts, minor skin damage, first degree burns, mild frostbite and decubitus ulcers. As it is in alcohol, will burn open cuts. But can be diluted in water. Antibacterial – antifungal – antiviral – anti-inflammatory – immune modulating – wound healing
