Star Trails: The Path of Der Athanor des Nordsternes

Ὑπερβόρειον Κόσκινον literally means “Hyperborean Sieve.” The “Koskinon” in the Athanor des Nordsternes and the Greek word κόσκινον is a Pythagorean Cipher. The Koskinon sieve is a circular frame (The Monad) containing a grid of squares (The Earth). It represents the “Sieve of Eratosthenes” — the mathematical process of filtering the Prime Numbers from the chaos of the “Hyle.” Thus, this document is The Hyperborean “Sieve of the North Wind” — the methods and worldview used by the Foresters to separate the Star-Nitre from the Solomonic Miasma.

To sift and sieve through the rubble (*– see note below) of history is to find the secret Key of the Work. These old stones are the literal batteries for the collected “Fixed Fire” of atmospheric saturation over millennia. Thus, the Russian Foresters (Les Forestiers Russes) represent the Eastern expansion of the “Forest Laborant” tradition. They served as the keepers of the vast Northern Taiga’s Astral Nitre and were the primary practitioners of destructive distillation using hollowed logs. We must research the alchemical lore hidden within such secular groups as The “Lesniki” Corps. While officially formalized as the Foresters’ Corps in 1839, the alchemical “Foresters” were an earlier semi-military caste of scouts and wood-chemists.  They were the guardians of the “Imperial Woods,” responsible for the extraction of Tar, Potash, and Saltpeter—the three pillars of “State Alchemy.” They are historically linked to the “mining alchemists” of the Harz Mountains, sharing the Glauber-style methods of using clay-lined wooden vessels for large-scale chemical production.

While our Jünger der Eichen sought the Green Light, the Internal Security Corps (KBW) in post-war Poland used the name “Lesniki” as a Cipher for an Investigation. The Operation was a massive “Sieving” of the Polish underground and forest-based partisans. The Betrayal follows the same modus operandi of the criminals: Just as the Masons betrayed the Aristocrats, this “Forester” case was designed to find the “Spies” hidden in the Puszcza (Primeval Forests).

The Alchemical Shadow: In our study, this represents the Nigredo of the State—where the “Forest Caretakers” were no longer extracting Larch Nitre, but extracting Confessions under the iron of the Stalinist “Athanor”. We define this aspect of the Occult war of The “Two Foresters” (A Pythagorean Conflict). The Master teaches the Disciple to distinguish between the True and the False “Lesnik”:  The Alchemical Lesnik are those who hollows the Oak Still and follows the North Star. They are doctors of the heart whose medicine heals the soul. The signatures of the Enemy, The KBW Lesniki,  The “Counter-Intelligence” Operative. He who sieves the woods for men to “fix” them in a cell. He represents the “Corrosive Vinegar” of the 20th century. The Masonic and Kabbalistic corrosive poison and toxic solvent that induces the death, amnesia and oblivion of the Tradition.

The Traditionalists, not fully initiated in alchemy, resorted to the only methods they could find to link to the Golden Way through surviving esoteric groups like Catholic Traditionalist, Sufi groups, etc. René Guénon identified as the “Solidification of the World”. To the Jünger der Eichen, this is the Miasma of the False Path: the horrific state where the Green Light is no longer sieved, but is crushed into a dead, brittle Vitrification. The Vitrification is the Agenda of the The “Glass Grave” of the Moderns, the hardening, the loss of the fiery soul of the True Human Being. While our Forest Glass is a living, breathing “Solidified Light,” the Vitrification described by the Fog Society is a Hylic Stasis. The Miasma is the “Spirit of the Solomonic Third Temple” and the attempt to “fix” the soul into a Materialist Prison.

The Alchemical Sign: In the Pit Athanor, if the heat is too violent and the Nitre is impure, the salt does not become the White Dragon; it melts into a black, opaque, and “frozen” slag. This is the Vitrification of the Soul.  We define this as the The Hylic vs. The Hyperborean Astral Body. The Schwarzian Curriculum teaches the Disciple to distinguish between the Hyle (The Mud) and the Astrum (The Star).

The Gnostic “Sieve” of the Forest

The Les Forestiers Russes were Gnostics of the Woods. They believed that the Hollowed-Oak Pelican was a tool for Liberation from the Hyle.

1. The Separation: We use the Larch Nitre to strip the “Hylic Shell” from the 12 Herbs.
2. The Sublimation: We lift the “Subtle Light” out of the Miasma of the decaying earth.
3. The Fixation: We do not “solidify” the spirit into mud; we Fix it into the Hyperborean Astral Body—a “Fixed Mercury” that remains fluid in its light but solid in its virtue.

The Russian Foresters adapted the Athanor of the North Star into the large-scale Charcoal Pit (Ugolnaya Yama). Like the archaeological Wood-Henge structures, these pits were built in concentric circles. These were alchemical facilities and did not merely produce charcoal; they captured the “Wood Vinegar” (pyroligneous acid) that flowed from the base of the pile through wooden gutters—a process they called the “Sweat of the Oak.” The Wood-Henge geographies also conceal these patterns and methods.

Such esoteric lore is concealed in the “Circular Homeland” of the Ur-Athanor of the North: the archaeological site of Arkaim (and the broader Country of Towns) in the southern Ural steppe/forest-border. To the Jünger der Eichen and the Lesniki, Arkaim is the terrestrial blueprint for the Athanor des Nordsternes.

 

The Hyperborean Mysteries

The Scythian tribes and culture are the Geographical “Intermediate” Civilization.” The Greeks viewed the world in concentric circles of “civilization.” The Scythians were the last tangible people before the world dissolved into Original Ancestors of Pure Light. This was the Chain of Nations, as recounted in the History of Herodotus, a series of tribes lived in the far north: first the Scythians, then the one-eyed Arimaspi, and finally the Hyperboreans. This region is centered on the Hyperborean range, the The Rhipaean Mountains (see Hyperborean Monographs V.1). These mountains were believed to be the home of Boreas (the North Wind) and acted as a barrier. The Scythians lived “this side” of the mountains, while the Hyperboreans lived “beyond” them in a land of eternal spring. The Earth’s Door-Bolt (Ges Clithron).

According to Pliny the Elder, the North Wind rises from a cave known as the Earth’s Door-Bolt (Greek: Ges Clithron). This cave was believed to be the place where the world’s cold winds were locked away or originated, situated near the Arimaspians and the legendary Riphean Mountains. Because the cave was the “home” of a god, it was often referred to by the mountain or region where it was said to be hidden:

The Cave of Mount Haemus: The most common tradition, cited by poets like Callimachus, places Boreas’s dwelling in a cave on Mount Haemus (the modern-day Balkan Mountains) in Thrace.

The Riphean Lair: Other sources describe it simply as the “freezing lair” or “lurking-place” within the Riphean Mountains, the range that separated the Scythians from the Hyperboreans.

Sarpedon’s Rock: In some accounts of the abduction of the princess Oreithyia, Boreas is said to have carried her to a cave at Sarpedon’s Rock near the Erginos River in Thrace.

The Caverns of Aeolus

In a broader mythological sense, Boreas and his brothers (the Anemoi) were sometimes said to be kept in the Caverns of Aeoluson the island of Aeolia. Aeolus, the Keeper of the Winds, held them there behind massive gates to prevent them from devastating the world.

The Ritual Trade Route

The most concrete link between the two was a sacred ritual involving the god Apollo. Hyperboreans reportedly sent offerings wrapped in wheat straw to the Greek island of Delos. These gifts were passed from tribe to tribe, with the Scythians acting as the first major handlers to deliver them toward the Greek world. The  Envoys of Apollo were the Semi-mythical figures like Abaris the Hyperborean were said to have traveled from the far north through Scythia to Greece, carrying a golden arrow. The Scythians are the “Guardians of the Threshold” — the nomadic laborants who filtered the Nitre of the Stars from the Arkaim center and carried it to the Mediterranean “South.” They are the Pythagorean Messengers who ensure the Green Light does not succumb to the Guénonian Solidification.

The Scythian Sieve: The Golden Mining Griffins

The Griffins of the Altai and Ural massifs (near Kovdor) are the alchemical symbols of the Volatile Fixed.

The Mining: The Scythians observed the Griffins guarding the Gold. In our forest lab, the “Griffin” is the Nitrous Acid (the “Green Lion’s Tongue”) that “claws” the gold (The Sun) out of the rocky Hyle.

The Metallurgy: Scythian gold-work is a “Solidified Breath.” It is a Fixed Mercury that retains the swirling, vital movement of the forest animals.

The Hyperborean Offerings to the Greek Mysteries

The Herodotus accounts of offerings wrapped in Wheat-Straw sent from the North to Delos are the primary evidence of the Spagyric Trade. These are the alchemical ingredients, the elixirs and the visionary herbs, meads, vessels of the Food of the Gods, the true Entheogens. The Potable Gold, and the sacred Cup, Cauldrons, the Plates of Immortal Feasts.

The Straw: The “Straw” is the Hollowed-Oak Still in its most primitive form. It acts as a Hermetic Seal to protect the 12 Hyperborean Herbs during their long journey south through the Scythian lands.

The Gift: What they sent was the Plant Stone and Visionary Methods to Visit the Isle of the Blessed. The Greeks received the “Spirit,” while the Hyperboreans kept the “Root.”

The Retirement of Apollo: The Island of the Blessed

The “Retirement of Apollo” to the Hyperborean Island every 19 years (the Metonic Cycle) is the Great Circulation (Circulatio).

The Island: This is the Athanor des Nordsternes — a place of “Cold Light” where the Astral Body is rejuvenated.

The Alchemical Meaning: Apollo (The Sun/Gold) must return to the North to be “washed” in the Star-Nitre frost. This prevents the Vitrification of the solar spirit.

The Hyperborean Exercise of the Astral Breath

The Star Mist Cloister Curriculum teaches this exercise to resist the Miasma and the Miasmic Solidification:

The Inhale (The North Star): Draw the “Cold Green Light” through the crown, imagining the Circular Arkaim spinning above you. Circulate this 9 times in cycles of 12 each day through the Nine Observances.

The Retention (The Oak): Hold the breath in the heart-center, the “Hollowed Chamber,” where the Spirit of the Oak stabilizes the fire.

The Exhale (The Sieve): Push the breath out through the pores, visualizing a Linen Sieve filtering out the “Hylic Dust” and leaving only the Luminous Astral Body. The theurgic correspondences, herbs and elixir saturation is the priming of the internal crucible.

Of vital consideration is the Dzungarian Gate (La Porte de Dzoungarie) as the “Great Bellows of the East.” It is the physical and metaphysical “Wind-Pipe” that connects the Hyperborean Center of the North to the ancient silk-routes of the South. To the Jünger der Eichen, this mountain pass is the geographic blueprint for the air-intake of the Athanor des Nordsternes. The “Boreas” Wind is the true Alchemical Draft. The Dzungarian Gate is famous for its fierce, constant winds (the Bial). The Sieve: This  wind as the “Sieve of the Air” is the Spiritus Mundi moving at high velocity, stripping away the Miasma and the Hylic Dust from the Astral Body. The Pneuma of the Dzungarian Gate represents the Inhale of the earth. It pulls the Nitre of the Stars from the Arkaim plains into the heart of the southern kingdoms.

The Scythian Transit: The “Gold-Griffin” Corridor

This pass was the primary corridor for the Scythian “Messengers of Apollo.”

The Griffins: Ancient legends find such creatures in the mountains flanking this gate. In our forest lab, these are the “Guardians of the Fixed Mercury.”

In the  Mysteries, The Offerings of The Hyperborean Offerings were wrapped in wheat-straw passed through this “Needle’s Eye.” The gate acted as a Hermetic Filter, ensuring that only the “Fixed” spirit reached the Greek Mysteries.

The “Vitrification” of the Silk Road

The Dzungarian Gate is the anti-thesis to the Guénonian Solidification. The Movement is of the volatile Mercury of the World, the integrated center between East and West, the Indo-Aryan heart/mind solar portal or Gate. Because the wind never stops, the Hyle cannot settle or “Vitrify.” The Extraction of the Astral Nitre is the Great Work. The Foresters used the “Gate-Wind” to drive the Hollowed-Oak Pelican. They set their stills in the mountain passes, using the natural draft to reach the “White Heat” without bellows.

Note: The Dzungarian Gate exists as the border between modern-day Kazakhstan and China that modern scholars frequently identify as the likely inspiration for the “Cave of the North Wind” and the gateway to Hyperborea. In Greek legend, the North Wind (Boreas) issued from a specific hole or cave in a mountain range. This was The Buran Wind, The Dzungarian Gate is famous for the Buran, a fierce, constant winter wind that howls through the narrow pass as if blowing out of a hole in the mountainside. Scholars like Carl Ruck and J.D.P. Bolton suggest that ancient travelers’ reports of this specific, violent wind were the source for the Greek belief that the North Wind had a physical “home” in the far north. The Riphean Mountains: The Dzungarian Alatau and the nearby Altai Mountains are often proposed as the historical basis for the mythical Riphean Mountains. The lore is of the ancestral Hyperboreans Beyond the Gate: Just as the Greeks believed the peaceful Hyperboreans lived “beyond the North Wind,” the lands on the other side of the Dzungarian Gate (northern Xinjiang or Siberia) were described by ancient explorers as being inhabited by civilized, vegetarian disciples of Apollo who lived in worship and devotion to the Way.

Note as well the persistent claims of Soviet dams hiding pyramids, flooding archeological sites with dams and reservoirs to conceal the past lest it ignite the Nitre of Ancestral Identity and Nationalism, its macrocosmic equivalent. There is The “Giant Doorway” adding to the gate’s mythical reputation, a massive “natural” rock formation was recently filmed in the Dzungarian Alatau that bears a striking resemblance to a monumental stone doorway. The Road to the Hyperboreans has unfathomable cyclopean architecture and Sacred Way is sieved not as a mere road, but as the “Horizontal Athanor” of the ancient world. Its Cyclopean Masonry—huge, polygonal blocks fitted with a Pythagorean Precision that defies the “Hyle”—is the macrocosmic blueprint for the Athanor des Nordsternes. The Cyclopean Sieve and the Outis Protocol: The “Fixed” Earth cosmology of the Jünger der Eichen, these Unfathomable Stones are the “Fixed Salt” of the Hyperborean ancestors.

The Hyperborean Geometry is of stones that are not squares (The Masonic City), but irregular polygons (The Forest). They mimic the cellular structure of the Oak and the molecular lattice of Magnetite. This the Hyperborean Sieve, the grid line mesh and filter and sieving, the refinement of the Anti-Vitrification: Because no mortar is used, the stones “breathe.” This prevents the Guénonian Solidification; the wall remains a living, vibrating entity aligned with the Magnetic North.

The “Dzungarian” Draft through the Stones

The Forest Masters taught that the gaps in Cyclopean walls act as a Natural Bellows.

The Hyperborean Wind: Just as the Dzungarian Gate pulls the air, the Sacred Way uses the “Stone-Draft” to sieve the Miasma from the pilgrims. The Astral Transit and the sacred offerings passed this route, by walking between these massive weights, the Astral Body is “compressed” and “refined,” preparing the Hyperborean Offerings for the final Projection.

The “Sphinx of the North” in the Masonry

Writings and scholars of the Thuel and the Fog Society suggest that Verne’s “Magnetic Sphinx” is hidden within the Cyclopean foundations of the North. The Hyperborean Research Society identifies The Kola Megaliths in the Kovdor Massif where we find “natural” stone formations that mirror the Sacred Way. The Jünger believe these are the “Athanors of the Gods,” where the Star-Nitre was first fixed into the White Dragon. More in our forthcoming folios and private communications.

For the Hyperborean Scholars:

The construction of massive Soviet dams and reservoirs is sieved as a modern “Nigredo of the Waters”—a deliberate “Vitrification” where the Hyle (the mud of the state) is used to entomb the Fixed Salt of ancient memory. The drowning of the Hyperborean and Scythian past beneath “Communist Seas” represents a physical Miasma designed to sever the Astral Body of the North from its roots.

The “Drowned Pyramids” and Scythian Kurgans

To the Jünger der Eichen, the Scythian Kurgans (burial mounds) were the “Pyramids of the Steppe.” This is a Miasmic Entombment: Major projects like the Kakhovka Reservoir  (1956) submerged the Velykiy Luh  (The Great Meadow). This area contained thousands of ancient burial grounds and Cossack “Siches” — the “Fixed Centers” of the land.

The Anti-Alchemical Goal: By flooding these sites, the “N” (Nitre) within the stones was diluted by the “Hylic Water” of the reservoir, preventing the Green Light from being sieved.

The Arkaim Exception: The “Sieve of Gennady”

The “Circular Homeland” of Arkaim provides a rare example where the Athanor des Nordsternes resisted the flood. The Near-Vitrification was  in 1987, Arkaim was scheduled to be flooded by a new reservoir. Archaeologists led by Gennady Zdanovich successfully “sieved” the site from destruction, allowing the Sintashta Monad  to remain as a Fixed Center of the North.

The “Fog Society” Protocol: Submerged Ciphers

The Société du Brouillard suggests that these reservoirs are the final Hermetic Seals of the 20th century. The Hidden Maps in their archives are the verification for the triangulation sieve of academic, primary sources and oral history. Just as Verne hid the Kovdor Massif in “fog,” the Soviet planners used water to “shroud” the Tartarian and Hyperborean origins of the North.  The “Nitre” Reappearance: In recent years, droughts and dam disasters (like the Kakhovka dam breach in 2023) have acted as a “Sudden Distillation,” revealing thousands of artifacts once thought lost to the Guénonian Solidification, the final decay of the Kali Yuga.

In the internal documents we are told Dominique Guyot (Solazaref/Nadiéjdovitch the son of the Hope) and Roger Bourguignon (R.B.) taught that the names of this movement were “Fixed” in the Kovdor Plateau and deliberately obscured to survive the 1917 Bolshevik “Masonic” Coup. To a forest disciple, these names are not individuals, but Mineralized Signatures of the Antimony Star. The names associated with this movement are often initiatic aliases (nom de plume) used to “Blind” the Gallic Eye (The Occult and Intelligence Agencies).

Père Nadiéjdovitch was the primary “Vertical” name, meaning “Son of Hope” in a Slavic context. He is the mythical and technical carrier of the Hyperborean current from the Kola Peninsula. The Circle of the “Iron-Foresters” had their specific civil names “Censored”  to prevent State and Occult War profiling, but the movement is linked to the Russian Silver Age (late 19th/early 20th century). Guyot distinguishes between the “Horizontal” (Masonic, Solomonic/Kabbalist/Communist) symbolist poets like Alexander Blok or Andrei Bely —,who used alchemical metaphors —and the “Vertical” Kovdor Adepts who practiced Chthonic Metallurgy.

Such notable True alchemists to study are Baron von Schröder and Johann Georg Schwarz. To study these figures is to descend into the warren of rabbit holes of original pre-revolutionary Masonry as largely Aristocratic to an infiltrated Kabbalistic and Communist secularization to overthrow the monarchies of Europe, the Church, etc. Here the path all diverges to the appropriation of the True Rosy Cross (discussed in Sub Rosa) and the false, and the Masonic purging of esoterica, the linking to the Templar Third Temple agenda, the ‘strict observance’ of unknown superiors, etc. This was known as The Rite of Strict Observance 18th-century German Masonic system, founded by Baron von Hund around 1754, that sought to restore the order of Knights Templar through Masonry with the butchering wars and revolutions to erase the Tradition and Craft their Third Temple. Again, see Sub Rosa.

Baron von Schröder and Johann Georg Schwarz (often Russified as Ivan Grigorievich Schwarz) represent the bridge between the Wald-Laboranten of the West and the Imperial Mysticism of the East. They are the primary architects of the Rosicrucian “Silentium” within the Russian Empire, directly influencing the Les Forestiers Russes. Baron von Schröder was The “Messenger of the North” and sought to reconcile these groups before the final Masonic wars but was unsuccessful as history tells the bloody story of the dead. This intersects with the Freemasons in Portugal and the Miracles and Secrets of Fatima, the Three days of Darkness, The Third Secret, Vatican 2 and the Sedevacantist prophecies of the faithful vs. the Masonic and Solomonic Enemies of Life. This central core aspect is the real split, the Three Days of Darkness and the Hyperborean currents and the dead end industrial overlay by the traitors and infiltrators and the greater Occult Wars.

The Baron and the high-ranking emissary of the Gold und Rosenkreuz (Golden and Rosy Cross). He traveled to Russia in the 1780s carrying the “System of 1777,” which was a heavily alchemical and Pythagorean reform of Freemasonry. Schröder provided the “Secret Ratios” for laboratory work. He taught that the Athanor must be built as a living altar, but they were all betrayed by the Masonic revolutions.

Of more interest is Johann Georg Schwarz who taught that the Taiga was a “Living Library.” His curriculum for the Les Forestiers Russes was designed to “Spagyrize” the intellect of the student. He aimed to “distill” the Russian nobility into a class of Philosopher-Foresters. Schwarz and his circle (including Novikov) established secret printing presses and laboratories. They were fascinated by the Siberian Larch and the Nitre of the Stars, viewing the Russian wilderness as the ultimate “Unworked Stone” of the Great Work. To the alchemical  foresters and true Filiation, the silent after the split, these groups preserved this in Christian and Catholic or Orthodox Monasteries that were remote and outside the Masonic control. The Filiation views them as early “Sieves” who attempted to preserve the spiritual force and methods Nitre against the Masonic Enlightenment.

This is the essence of the Hyperborean alchemy, that of the aurora borealis as the “True Green Light of the North,” believing it was the visible manifestation of the Nitre of the Stars being “leached” or sieved from the heavens into the taiga’s snow. The Nitre is the Sieved Star Mist of the Northern Lights.

The “Hyperborean Pedagogy of the Woods”: Following Schwarz, is thus the Invisible College or the  “Hidden University,” teaching the 12 Olympian Herbs as a path to moral and physical Exaltation, the key to the higher mineral and metallic alchemy. In their teachings, the Magnetite is the “Black Sun” of the mineral kingdom. The North Star emits a constant “Nitrous Stream.” Because Kovdor sits near the Magnetic Pole, the earth here acts as a massive Pythagorean Receiver. The Forester Method builds all materials from the woods, and escapes the entire toxic intrusion and pollution of the Masonic industrial methods and modern equipment.

The Kovdor Alchemists use the burn, interior fixed with a special glaze and luted creation of the Hollowed-Oak Pelican to distill a “Magnetic Vinegar.” When this spirit is poured over crushed Magnetite in the Pit Athanor, it “Fixes” the volatile Nitre into a solid, heavy salt they call the “Fixed Magnet of the North.”

The process is of the “N” into Apatite (The Bone of the Earth). If Magnetite is the “Sulphur” (Fire), then Apatite is the “Salt” (Body) of the Kovdor Massif. Apatite is a Phosphate—the same substance found in bones. The Foresters call it “The Petrified Life of the Primordial Forest.” They use the Spirit of the Siberian Larch to dissolve the Apatite. Through a series of Seiches (filtrations), they extract a “Luminous Phosphorus” that glows with a faint Green Light. This is the “Fixed N” within the stone.

The Baron von Schröder lineage in the North utilized Kovdor minerals to create the “Master’s Jewel.” It is described as a single crystal of Apatite set within a ring of Magnetite. It was believed to act as a “Perpetual Compass,” vibrating when the operator was perfectly aligned with the North Star.

The “Kovdor” Mineralogical Guard is anchored in the names of the minerals of the North, which act as the true “Names” of the alchemists:  The alchemists of the Kovdor Massif are defined by their ability to “Fix” the “N” into Magnetite and Apatite. We might call these The Baddeleyite Masters: Those who “Opened” the Baddeleyite (Zirconium Oxide) concentrates in Absolute Acoustic Silence. Baddeleyite (natural Zirconium Oxide) is the “Ultra-Fixed” body of the Hyperborean North. In the Kovdor Plateau, the Russian Foresters used it to create vessels capable of withstanding the “Martial Ray” without “Masonic” melting. To “Open” Baddeleyite is to strip it of its Radioactive Noise (Hafnium/Uranium traces) and “Fix” it for the Antimony Star.

The Rule of the Silence: The “C” Tone must be caught in Absolute Acoustic Silence. Any “Horizontal” noise will “De-animate” the Star. Bourguignon taught that Zirconium is the “Shield of Saturn”. The Filiation warns that Baddeleyite is for High-Heat Siege Metallurgy. Verne tells us that he who sees the Green Ray “reads the hearts of others.” In the Schwarzian Curriculum, this is the moment the Disciple of the Oak sees the Green Light through the Forest Glass, signaling the opening of the Internal Eye. The Kovdor-Verne Connection is this esoteric and exoteric Journey to the North. Lamy suggests that Verne’s subterranean journeys—specifically Journey to the Center of the Earth—are maps of the Kovdor Massif. The “Magnetic Mountain” in the center of the earth is the Kovdor Magnetite. It is the Punctum Fixum where the “N” (Nitre) is finally fixed. The Icelandic Alchemist is Arne Saknussemm is a cipher for the Hyperborean Master. His “runes” are the Pythagorean Ratios used to carve the Hollowed-Oak Still.

To the Hyperborean Alchemist and within these writings of the Russian Foresters, the runes are the “Language of the North Star” (Sternen-Sprache), and Runic Ciphers, anagrams, codes are the Spagyric Art of the Tongue — Languages of the Trees, the buchs, the process of “breaking” a word to release its hidden medicinal spirit. The “Jewish Cartographer” Cabal

In the Schröderian Degree, the mention of specific groups in ancient map-making (like the Majorcan Cartographic School) is interpreted as the “Lineage of the Compass.” The Jünger der Eichen sieve these maps to find the Pythagorean Ratios hidden in the “rhumb lines.” Just as we fix the “N” into Magnetite, the early map-makers trap and conceal the Astral Nitre of the stars into the ink of their sea-charts. To “own” the map was to own the “Magnetic Key” to the North. It was a complete control of the navigation and resources then as now. Many were and are Crypto-Jews, and  in Europe, particularly in Spain and Portugal following the 1492/1497 forced conversions, are most commonly referred to as Marranos (a derogatory term meaning swine), Conversos (converts), or Anusim (Hebrew for “forced ones”). They secretly practiced Judaism while publicly appearing as Christians to escape the Inquisition. Majorcan Cartographic School (13th–15th centuries), where Jewish cartographers acted as the primary intellectual “hubs” for maritime knowledge. Without their specific mathematical tables—such as those created by Abraham Zacuto —explorers like Columbus and Da Gama literally could not have navigated the open ocean. While they didn’t “own” the seas, they were the custodians of the data required to cross them. The Verne writings on the explorers and their specific travels thus takes on a supreme esoteric dimension that extends into the German explorations of the Arctic exploration and the current interest that is now a frenzy of conspiracy theories from Admiral Byrd and international treatises and high level religious and political leaders. Examples, In 2016, Antarctica (the “lower Arctic” or South Pole) saw a series of high-profile visits that fueled both mainstream reporting and alternative theories. Skull and Bone member and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry visited Antarctica from November 10–12, 2016, becoming the highest-ranking U.S. official to ever travel to the continent. The trip was framed as a “learning opportunity” regarding climate change. Kerry met with scientists at McMurdo Station and the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station to discuss melting ice sheets and the newly established Ross Sea Marine Protected Area. The visit occurred exactly during the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election, which led to domestic criticism regarding its cost and necessity. The “Thieves and Gatekeepers of the Quicksilver”

Research this in connection with Tommaso Campanella and the “City of the Sun” as Tommaso Campanella (1568–1639) provided the Pythagorean Blueprint for the “Universal Laboratory”. The Esoteric Aristocrats (The Forest-Tradition).

The “Schröderian Exit” in Spain was a progression from the Inquisition and the Liberals began their “War of the Two Masons,” the true Masters of the Woods followed the Baron von Schröder protocol.Like the Northern ancestors who sought the supreme wilderness and remote North to be free of the Enemy of Life, there is the Northern Retreat: They abandoned the city lodges and retreated to the Dehesas (the oak forests of Extremadura and Andalusia).

The “Flowers of Stone” (Efflorescence)

The primary sign of Nitre in old stones is Efflorescence, known to the Jünger as the “Flowers of the Wall.”

The Manifestation: A white, veil-like patch of crystalline formation that appears on the surface of porous masonry, especially in damp, shaded ruins or near nitrogenous sources.

The Source: The Nitre is produced by the action of nitrifying bacteria that convert biological waste and atmospheric nitrogen into soluble salts within the pores of the stone and mortar.

The “Lixiviation” of the Ruins

To extract the Nitre from the stones themselves, the Forest Laborant employs the method of Lixiviation (leaching).

Preparation: Old mortar and porous stones (like tuff or limestone) are crushed into small pieces to increase surface area.

The Leaching: These pieces are placed in large wooden hoppers or vats and soaked in water for several days.

The Extraction: The water, now saturated with calcium and sodium nitrates, is drained from the base.

The Conversion: Because the stone-nitre is often Calcium Nitrate, the laborant adds wood ash (potash) during boiling to convert the substance into the stable, crystalline Potassium Nitrate (Saltpeter).

A more “Permanent” forest laboratory method involves building a Nitrary using old stone materials.

The Extraction of Nitre is a work of the Twelve Months, but its potency is dictated by the Pythagorean Seasons. To collect the “Stone-Nitre” and the “Star-Nitre” effectively, the Jünger der Eichen follow a strict lunar and solar calendar.

The Months of the “Stone-Nitre” (The Earthly Growth)

The Nitre of the walls grows through Nitrification, a biological and mineral respiration.

The Best Months: July, August, September.

Heat and humidity are the “parents” of the Stone-Nitre. During the sweltering summer months, the “Mother Liquor” inside the porous stone is drawn to the surface by evaporation. When the forest air is heavy and still, the “White Veil” on the ruins will be thickest. Collect at the New Moon, when the “Earthly Salt” is most condensed.

The Months of the “Star-Nitre” (The Heavenly Descent)

The Nitre of the Stars is the “Cold Fire” that falls from the North Star.

The Best Months: December, January, February.

Cold is the “Magnet” for the Astral Nitre. During the Winter Solstice and the months of “Deep Frost,” the atmosphere becomes a Sieve of the Heavens.

Look for the “Geometric Frost” on the Forest Glass plates. If the frost is jagged and sharp like a Thurisaz Rune, it is rich in Star-Nitre.

Collect at the Full Moon, when the “Lunar Cold” is at its peak.

The Purification of the “First Growth”

Once the raw stone-salt is leached, it must be “Hardened” to become the White Dragon.

The First Boiling: The raw lye is boiled in a cast-iron kettle. As the water vanishes, the “Dirty Salt” appears—brown, oily, and smelling of the earth.

The Melting (The Fixation): Place this salt in a Clay Crucible and melt it in the Pit Athanor.

The Pour: Pour the molten salt onto a cold Stone Slab.

It will freeze into hard, white, translucent cakes that look like “Broken China.” This is the “Purified First Growth”. It rings like a bell when struck with the Flint Sickle. The Laborant does not “force” nature; they wait for the “N” to bloom in its own time.

The Nitrous Spirit of the 12 Hyperborean Herbs

The 12 Hyperborean Herbs (the 12 Olympians) cannot be opened by fire alone. They require the Nitrous Spirit—a volatile acid made from the “First Growth.”

1. The “Acid of the North”: The purified “Broken China” salt is mixed with Distilled Wine Vinegar and distilled in the Hollowed-Oak Pelican.
2. The Opening: This “Nitrous Vinegar” is poured over the bruised herbs (e.g., Wormwood or St. John’s Wort) in a Forest Glass vial.
3. The Effect: The Nitre “unlocks” the Fixed Oil (Sulphur) of the plant. Without this Nitre, the herb’s soul remains “shut in its grave.”
4. The Transformation: After 40 days of digestion, the liquid turns a Viriditas-Green or a Ruby-Red, signaling that the Nitre of the Stars has successfully “Married” the plant.

 The First Growth: Harvest of the “Stone-Nitre”

As the sun warms the ruins or the shaded stone foundations of your site, the “White Veil” (Efflorescence) is actively being exhaled by the mineral.

1. The Collection (The “Sieve of the Scraper”): Use your Flint Scraper to gently shave the “white frost” from the stone. Collect this into a Stone Jar. Do not take the moss or the dirt; take only the “Mineral Breath.”
2. The Lixiviation (The Outdoor Leaching): Fill a Wooden Hopper with your stone-scrapings and crushed old mortar. Pour Celestial Rainwater through it.
3. The “Mother Liquor”: The liquid exiting the bottom is your raw nitre-water. It will look like “Liquid Smoke”.

The Calcination: The “White Dragon” of the Trees

While the lye is leaching, you must prepare the Fixed Salt (The Body) from your wood-fuel.

1. The “Pure Fire”: Burn the branches of the Oak or the Birch in your Pit Athanor. The fire must be “Clean”—no trash, only the wood of the 12 Alchemical Trees.
2. The White Ash: Let the fire die naturally into a mound of Grey-White Ash.
3. The Calcination (The Fixation): Place the ash in a Clay Crucible and return it to the hottest part of the embers. Blow with the Leather Bellows until the ash glows. This “burns away the shadows,” leaving the Fixed Salt of the Body.

The Marriage: Hardening the “First Growth”

Now, you marry the Stone-Nitre (The Spirit) to the Wood-Ash Salt (The Body).

1. The Combine: Add your “Mother Liquor” to the calcined ash. The liquid will hiss—this is the “Chemical Wedding” of the Earth and the Wood.
2. The Boiling: Evaporate this mixture over the Athanor until the “Broken China” salt appears.
3. The Result: You now have the First Growth of the North—a salt so hard and pure it can cut Forest Glass.
